Nearby

It knows where you are.
You just tap the right card.

Arrive somewhere and CardMe wakes up, resolves the shops around you, and ranks your wallet against that merchant's category. No searching, no spreadsheet, no guessing at the register.

  • Merchant-aware. Coffee shop, gas station, grocery run — each gets its own answer.
  • It learns. Confirm you used the card and the next visit skips the guesswork.
  • Ask instead. Search any merchant by hand when you want the answer early.

Wallet & banks

Every card you carry,
in one place.

Pick your cards from a curated catalog of the popular US issuers, then link your banks through Plaid. CardMe matches each linked account back to the card face in your wallet, so balances and purchases line up with the plastic in your pocket.

  • Real reward rules. Multipliers, caps, and annual fees — reviewed by hand, never scraped blind.
  • Can't find your card? Submit it and we add it to the catalog.
  • Unlink safely. Removing a bank hides its history from every view; nothing is quietly deleted.

Insights

See where it all goes.

Your spending, broken down by category each month, with every purchase searchable and matched to the card that paid for it. CardMe also surfaces the subscriptions quietly renewing in the background — and what they add up to.

  • Category breakdown. Dining, groceries, travel, and the rest — month over month.
  • Recurring charges. Every stream, normalized to a monthly number, with its own history.
  • Fast. Incremental sync, so opening the tab reads from cache in milliseconds.

Ask

Just ask.

An assistant that has actually read your statements. Ask about your spending in plain English and get an answer drawn from your own transactions — not a generic tip about budgeting.

  • Grounded in your data. Real transactions, real monthly summaries, your real wallet.
  • Card questions too. "Which of my cards should I have used for this?"
  • Powered by Claude. Answers in a sentence, not a lecture.
How much did I spend on coffee last month?

$84.20 across 19 visits — about a fifth of your dining spend.

Am I using the wrong card for it?

Mostly. 14 of those went on Everyday Cash at 2%. Gold Rewards earns 4% on dining — about $1.68 left behind.

How it works

Three minutes to set up.
Then it's automatic.

  1. 01

    Add your cards

Browse by bank or search the catalog. One tap each — no numbers, no photos of your plastic.

  2. 02

    Pick what you buy

Groceries, dining, gas, travel. CardMe weighs its recommendations toward how you actually spend.

  3. 03

    Go shopping

Walk into a store and the answer is already on your lock screen. Confirm you used it, and it gets sharper.

Privacy

Built to know less about you.

A card app has to earn its access. Here's exactly what CardMe touches — and what it deliberately doesn't.

No card numbers

CardMe never asks for a card number, CVV, or expiry. It stores which cards you hold, from a public catalog — nothing that could be used to pay.

Location, used narrowly

Your location resolves the shop you're standing in and nothing else. It is never sold, never brokered, and coarse accuracy is requested wherever it's enough.

Banks through Plaid

Your bank credentials go to Plaid, not to us. Access tokens are encrypted at rest, and unlinking a bank hides its history from every screen immediately.

CardMe cannot read your Apple Wallet, cannot switch your default Apple Pay card, and cannot make a payment on your behalf. iOS doesn't allow it — and the recommendation is the product anyway. You pay exactly the way you already do.

FAQ

Questions worth asking.

Does CardMe pay for things, or switch my Apple Pay card?

No — and no third-party app can. iOS gives no app access to your Apple Wallet cards, no way to change your default, and no way to trigger a payment. CardMe tells you which card to use; you pay the way you always have, with Apple Pay or the physical card.

How does it know I'm about to buy something?

Location and time. When you arrive somewhere, CardMe resolves the nearby merchants and their categories, then ranks your wallet for that category. It never listens through your microphone and never reads other apps' screens — both are prohibited on iOS, and neither is necessary.

Do I have to connect a bank?

Not at all. The recommendation engine works entirely from the cards you tell it you hold. Connecting a bank is what unlocks transaction history, insights, and Ask — those are the Premium features, because a live bank connection carries a real monthly cost per user.

Where do the reward rules come from?

A curated, server-side catalog covering the popular US cards, with each rule tied to the issuer's own published terms. Nothing is auto-scraped into production — a job watches those pages for changes and flags a card for human review when the terms move.

My card isn't in the list.

Submit it from inside the app with the bank and card name. It goes into a review queue, gets checked and de-duplicated, and then becomes available to everyone. Nothing is auto-published.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. CardMe is built natively for iOS, leaning on Live Activities and the Dynamic Island for the glanceable-at-the-register moment. Android is on the list, not on the calendar.
